Senior Compliance Analyst - audit readiness (San Jose, CA)

Fernwood Vale Construction delivers building projects for owners across the San Jose region. We are hiring a Senior Compliance Analyst to take on audit readiness. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Train staff on requirements for materials orders. • Track findings until they are fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. • Careful reading and clear writing. • Comfort saying no politely. Nice to have • Experience with safety records. • Certification in compliance or audit. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
