Senior Compliance Analyst - audit readiness (Sacramento, CA)

Fernwood Quill Civic Services supports public agencies in Sacramento with budgeting, records and programmes, and we need a Senior Compliance Analyst to lead our audit readiness. You would join a small organisation of about 166 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Keep the policy library current and easy to search. • Review processes against regulations and internal policies. • Train staff on requirements for constituent requests. • Track findings until they are fixed. • Prepare regulatory filings and audit evidence. What we are looking for • Comfort saying no politely. • Careful reading and clear writing. • Two or more years in compliance, audit or risk. Nice to have • Certification in compliance or audit. • Experience with procurement. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
