Senior Case Manager - intake and assessment (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Bright Willow Community Partners and adding a Senior Case Manager whose main responsibility will be intake and assessment. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Meet clients, understand their needs and build a simple plan. • Follow up regularly and update records accurately. • Report outcomes to funders in clear, short summaries. • Connect clients with partner agencies. • Help with applications and appointments for benefits enrolment. What we are looking for • Strong documentation habits. • Empathy, patience and good boundaries. • Experience in social services, casework or a related field. Nice to have • Experience with benefits enrolment. • Bilingual English and Spanish. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
