Senior Case Manager - benefits navigation (Birmingham, AL)

Northwind Field Community Partners is a Birmingham charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring a Senior Case Manager to take on benefits navigation. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Follow up regularly and update records accurately. • Connect clients with partner agencies. • Help with applications and appointments for volunteer shifts. • Report outcomes to funders in clear, short summaries. • Meet clients, understand their needs and build a simple plan. What we are looking for • Experience in social services, casework or a related field. • Strong documentation habits. • Empathy, patience and good boundaries. Nice to have • Experience with volunteer shifts. • Bilingual English and Spanish. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
