Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Tucson, AZ)

Fernwood Harbor Care Services Partners supports families and individuals in Tucson with personal care and coordination. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. The work is personal and so is the culture. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around client records against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with licensing. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Tucson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
