Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Tucson, AZ)

Northwind Fox Learning Group is an education provider in Tucson serving students and families. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to family communication, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with family communication. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Tucson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
