Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Tucson, AZ)

Summit Haven Staffing connects candidates and employers across the Tucson region. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. Recruiters here keep in touch with people long after placement. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to retention, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around candidate screening against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with retention. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Tucson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
