Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Seattle, WA)

Bluepeak Junction Insurance is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 620 people based in Seattle. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to claims, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Seattle. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
