Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Seattle, WA)

Rivermark Cedar Hospitality operates hotels and event venues around Seattle, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. Guests remember kindness. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around food costs against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with housekeeping schedules. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Seattle, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
