Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Seattle, WA)

Highbridge Kestrel Press is a printer and publisher in Seattle serving local and national clients. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track costs around proofing against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to customer orders, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Seattle. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
