Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Seattle, WA)

Westbrook Quill Foods Group makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Seattle. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people based in Seattle. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to sanitation schedules, and clear open items. • Track costs around ingredient orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with sanitation schedules.
