Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Seattle, WA)

Nova Quill Facilities is a facilities company in Seattle with crews on day and night shifts. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. Bilingual teams are common. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to work orders, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around supply orders against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
