Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Seattle, WA)

Highbridge Fern Banking Services Group is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for deposit accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around branch operations against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with deposit accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Seattle, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
