Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Seattle, WA)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Stone Inspection Services and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of about 597 people based in Seattle. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to certifications, and clear open items. • Track costs around test reports against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with certifications. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Seattle, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
