Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Savannah, GA)

Bright Wren Telecom Group provides broadband and phone service around Savannah, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around customer tickets against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to service installations, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Savannah. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
