Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (San Jose, CA)

Fernwood Corner Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in San Jose, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to device records, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with device records. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
