Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (San Jose, CA)

Redstone Oak Facilities is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for customer sites, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around safety inspections against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to customer sites, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with customer sites. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
