Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (San Diego, CA)

Silverline Meadow Manufacturing Group is a San Diego manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 120 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around customer orders against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
