Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (San Antonio, TX)

Ironwood Harbor Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around San Antonio, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with caregiver training. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Antonio. • We reply to every applicant.
