Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (San Antonio, TX)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Nest Financial Partners and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around regulatory reports against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with vendor spend. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
