Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Salt Lake City, UT)

Northwind Fern Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Salt Lake City. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to family communication, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with family communication. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We reply to every applicant.
