Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Sacramento, CA)

Bright Glen Hospitality runs guest-focused properties across the Sacramento area, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around group events against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with guest bookings. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
