Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Northwind Bright Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Savannah plant, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to machine downtime, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around tooling against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Savannah. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
