Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Westbrook Cedar Energy is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for usage data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 585 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track costs around billing disputes against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
