Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Rivermark Maple Staffing connects candidates and employers across the Charlotte region. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. Speed and follow-up matter. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around onboarding against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to timekeeping, and clear open items. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
