Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Greenridge Junction Manufacturing Group is a Richmond manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Track costs around machine downtime against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to production lines, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with production lines. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
