Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Westbrook Sable Staffing connects candidates and employers across the St. Louis region. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 24 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to onboarding, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in St. Louis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
