Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Bluepeak Mill Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Tucson. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of about 743 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to carrier rates, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with carrier rates. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Tucson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
