Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Amberfield Quill Hospitality is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for food costs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track costs around guest bookings against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to food costs, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with food costs. • Familiarity with audit requirements.
