Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Highbridge Ivory Hospitality operates hotels and event venues around San Jose, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 20 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to reviews and feedback, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around guest bookings against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with reviews and feedback. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
