Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Harborlight Umber Telecom is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for billing accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 45 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around customer tickets against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements.
