Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Ironwood Ivory Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Richmond, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of about 664 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around service complaints against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with fleet maintenance. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Richmond. • We reply to every applicant.
