Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Nova Oak Facilities is a facilities company in Austin with crews on day and night shifts, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track costs around supply orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to work orders, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
