Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Nova Lakeside Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Rochester. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 38 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track costs around cold storage against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to field records, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
