Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Silverline Umber Banking Services is a regional lender in Milwaukee with branches and a growing mobile service. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Track costs around deposit accounts against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to fraud alerts, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with fraud alerts. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Milwaukee. • We reply to every applicant.
