Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Ironwood Forge Telecom is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for service installations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 891 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to service installations, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with service installations. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
