Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Fernwood Wren Energy Group is an energy provider in Oklahoma City focused on reliable service and fair billing. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Track costs around hardship programmes against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to billing disputes, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with billing disputes. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Oklahoma City. • We reply to every applicant.
