Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Westbrook Willow Early Learning is an early-learning provider in Jacksonville. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. We celebrate small wins and steady routines. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around tuition and subsidies against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with meal programmes. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Jacksonville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
