Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Redstone Pike Auto Group Partners operates automotive service and parts businesses around Philadelphia. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of about 269 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Philadelphia. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
