Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Foxglove Yarrow Civic Services supports public agencies in Boise with budgeting, records and programmes, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 31 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to budget submissions, and clear open items. • Track costs around permits against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with budget submissions. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Boise. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
