Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Northwind Beacon Medical is a Cleveland company producing monitoring and surgical equipment, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around complaint handling against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with training materials. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Cleveland. • We reply to every applicant.
