Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Clearpath North Water Authority is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for capital projects, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around billing accounts against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with capital projects. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
