Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Ironwood Amber Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Cincinnati plant. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to production lines, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around work orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with production lines. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
