Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Fern Freight and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around carrier rates against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Indianapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
