Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Stonegate Vale Water Authority Group is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for pipe repairs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 446 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to pipe repairs, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Tucson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
