Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Rivermark Cross Legal Group provides legal services in Rochester across employment, housing and small-business law, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. Confidentiality and accuracy are taken very seriously. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around billing records against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with court deadlines. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
