Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Wren Freight and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. We reward reliability. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Boise. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
