Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Pittsburgh, PA)

Redstone Juniper Inspection Services Group is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for certifications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 142 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around scheduling against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with certifications.
