Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Phoenix, AZ)

Cedar Forge Health Group runs clinics and patient services around Phoenix. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of about 874 people based in Phoenix. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to patient scheduling, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around referrals against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with patient scheduling. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Phoenix. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
