Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Philadelphia, PA)

Foxglove Juniper Foods Group produces packaged foods at its Philadelphia plant, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 28 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around customer specifications against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to sanitation schedules, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Philadelphia, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
